Not Child Friendly

Unfortunately this property 'is not child safe' although advertised as secured for children. We were informed that the property was all fenced off & child safe when we arrived. We found our Toddler escaped out the side gate (latch was broken & look like it had be broken for a long time) & this property doesn't have a front gate at end of driveway on a main rd. Pt2. We shut one of the bedroom doors for our infant to sleep and then found that the door deadlocked.

This is a major security risk to anyone, imagine if there was a fire or this happened in the middle of the night with no-one to call. No b/key was left for us. We called Feathers Hotel immediately to unlock the door, as our infant was screaming. Pt. 3 Upstairs toilet has a leak at the base, very messy and slippery. Good points - Plenty of TVs, large backyard & good location. Property is close to shops, rests, parks, & a public pool.

We stress property have the safety measures reviewed to protect the lives of young children.

I am originally from Adelaide and think its a beautiful city to visit for families and couples. The Burnside Pool in Hazelwood Park is a lovely place for a swim and a BBQ or picnic. Enjoy listening to the kookaburras and other wildlife. When visiting parks, make sure you take a bottle of water with you as you'll find most of the water fountains are dismantled (most likely due to the water restrictions) and its quite a dry climate in Adelaide.

Take a tram ride from the city to Glenelg Beach & back for something different. Rundle Street is a great place for eating out and doing some casual shopping.
